Does COVID-19 infection have an impact on children’s psychological problems?

Abstract Background Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has a significant impact on children, adolescents, and their families. So, the purpose of this study is to investigate prevalence children’s psychological problems during COVID-19 pandemic association infection in children risk factors. A cross-sectional was conducted 148 aged 6–12 years old categorized into 2 groups based history. Participants were assessed by Socioeconomic Scale Checklist for Children’s Behavior (CBCL). Results Children who had high percentage regarding family, school, social, financial, parent due pandemic. Regarding CBCL, higher clinical rating than other group withdrawal (11.1% vs. 8.9%), anxious/depressed (33.3% 25%), somatic 10.7%), internalizing (61.1% 48.2%), externalizing (38.9% 35.7%), total (50% 44.6%). Family history psychiatric disorder presence three or more offspring at problems, while those with school vulnerable problems.
